Description
GM used a total of 12-14 of these style Torx Screws under the C4, C5 & C6 Corvette hood. These are the Torx head screws that secure the inner fender to each side. Open the hood and replace the factory torx screws located on each inner lip where the outer fender meets the inner fender by the weatherstrip area.
These screws are also used along the edge of the coupe rear hatch opening to fenders and the converible trunk lid edges
Be careful when installing the new screws to be sure they thread in properly. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN SCREW!
It is best to only remove 1-2 screws at a time and replace them with the new screws and washers before moving on the the next screws.
