- Designed for engine swap vehicles equipped with 1985-89 TPI from a 5.7L or 5.0L tuned port injection.
This harness is designed for 1985 – 1989 Tuned Port Injected TPI 5.0L & 5.7L V8 engines using the Mass Air Flow system. These engines were factory equipped in Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette and were mated to either a 200-4R or 700R4 transmission. Harnesses do not include all the original connections for the the original emissions but are available separate, see the specs page for more details. Also available for this harness is a detailed step-by-step manual, and GM color coded wires with labels for easy installation.
This harness also requires the following mating parts; ECM 1227165, 16198259, or 88999194. 1985-1988 engines will require the use of prom 16082183, 16068654, or 1228109. 1989 engines will require prom 16133467 or 16150500.
